Three clinicians dedicated entirely to rheumatic disease.

Dr. Robinder Dhillon, MD has been part of Sierra Rheumatology's team since 2018. She is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, and has dedicated more than two decades to clinical care and research across five countries and over twenty hospitals.

She graduated from medical school in 2004, completed her residency at Wayne State University, and pursued her Rheumatology Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland — where she focused on clinical outcomes research for rheumatoid arthritis and lupus.

Her training and research stints span the NIH, Johns Hopkins, Mayo Clinic, the University of Rochester, Oxford-Radcliffe Hospital (UK), and Christian Medical College (India). In 2012 she received the Young Investigator Award from the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research, and she is first author on original research in the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research, with multiple review articles, book chapters and peer-reviewed publications.

Manpreet Sandhu is a Family Nurse Practitioner whose path into advanced practice was shaped by years at the bedside. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in India, where she also worked as a Registered Nurse and clinical instructor — educating the next generation of nurses.

After moving to the United States, she spent 12 years as a Case Manager with Sutter Care at Home, supporting patients through complex chronic illness. That close, in-home work is what inspired her to pursue her career as a nurse practitioner.

She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California, and completed an Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing, UC Davis Health — preparing her to manage rheumatic and autoimmune conditions across the full continuum of care.
